Dave's Press No. 3

Press No. 3 is our most popular stand mounted press. It has a good sized bed 25 x 48 inch bed. Colleges find this model beneficial and so do some RA printmakers who own my presses. As with all my machines this large machine is reliable easy to use and produces first class results no matter what you are printing.

Reigate College have used one of these machines for the past four years making thousands of prints with hundreds of students.

From early on in my carreer I was always conditioned to think the bigger the machine the better the print, its not the case with my design. Small or big the print quality is equal across the entire range of presses.

When you print with my machines you will find that the reliability is outstanding as the design is simple but effective and I only use the highest quality of materials. As such the only breakdowns I have had, documented were due to neglect or a lack of familiarization with the printing technique (The top roller was "locked" because the printmaker tightened it too tight for the task)

Thus, our presses are extreamly reliable to the point that when exhibiting our machines at the A&I Materials Show, Design Centre London, on two occasions our competitors were forced to borrow one of our machines to continue to run their workshops because their own machines had broken down.

Remember my machines are hand built here in Ironbridge United Kingdom and no parts are imported. It is truly a machine "Made in the UK". I personally build each machine and test it to ensure that when it leaves my workshop it functions to the degree I expect and my standards are quite high.
