We are a family business specializing
in many aspects of Art.
Our headquarters is at Church
Hill a Victorian House and small factory building built in 1850. We
also have a gallery in Ironbridge where we exhibit our own paintings
,drawings, prints and ceramics. We also exhibit the work of many
other artists including printing press customers.
Dave Gunning is a well
established artist having his work in many public and private
collections the most prestigious being the Palace of Westminster and
National Museum of Wales Permanent collections. He also has fifty
small etchings in the Royal Collection and met the Queen in 2003.
His next exhibition will be his 63rd at Bilston Craft Gallery
October 2010. Also in the same year there is a touring show in
Wiltshire and Dorset with David Inshaw and Rod Poutney looking at
Thomas Hardy Landscape.
‘Printmaking continues to
inspire and fascinate me. I feel very privileged to build printing
machines for people and to continue to develop my own work’ Dave
Gunning May 2009.
Jenny Gunning runs the
gallery in Ironbridge and is a wonderful printmaker in her own
right. She was using nitric acid to burn etching plates, when she
was seven and has never looked back.
Lizzie Gunning is Company
Secretary and a ceramic artist having her own studio at Church Hill
in the upper part of the old factory. Her inspiring glazes enhance
her powerful ceramic forms which range from large dishes to free
form shapes.
We have lived art for the
last three decades developing our personal talents. Art is our life.
Art is our chosen way.
